So here's the deal: I hear that the 1980s are making a comeback. The telltale signs of the Turbulent 80s are all over the place. For instance, I see middle school boys walk around with mullets, there are popular girls and cheerleaders drawing Pac-Man on their school binders, and many bands (other than bands like Duran Duran, who were popular in the 80s), are making 80s-based music. In this essay I will go into more detail on how the Turbulent 80s are making a comeback.
First of all, what's with mullets suddenly becoming fashionable again? Well, a lot of boys must really like running around wearing their hair in a mullet. Personally, I think that the mullet is actually really cool, as it's a style that was widely popular in the 80s. (And I'm only fourteen. Go figure.) There are boys at my middle school with mullets.
